I feel sorry for me and the rest of the LSU fans.

He was well paid to do it his way, screw everyone else.

He did not put his kids in the best position to win.

He was a thief in the night as far as LSU football was concerned.

On the other hand I think Les is a good man who actually thought he was doing the right thing, in his own mind.

Y'all think he would've considered the Tulane job had he been fired last year? Or too low profile for him? Would've been pretty interesting if he would've/could've ended up there

I think Les will do fine also. But after there were several head coaching vacancies and he could not get hired by the likes of Baylor and Houston, he may have to accept a lower profile school.

If not, maybe he can take the place of Lee Corso at ESPN.

im an even 50/50 when it come to appreciation and resentment towards Miles. he did so much for LSU, arguably more than any LSU coach ever, and yet he had so much more within his grasp, right there for the taking, he simply refused to take it.

we're better than bama. we simply are. theyre only on top right now because we've allowed it.

no more.

time to kill the king.

He earned enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life. He could work for ESPN Gameday when Corso leaves.

Karma's a Bitch.

What goes around comes Around.

You make your bed and then you have to go lay in It.

Miles had his chance to fix everything, but Ego and Stubbornness took over.

He got what he deserved, but only a few years too late..............

He'll land somewhere, and probably needed to take a year off. Do some TV work and refresh himself and selling skills. Two of the Arizona jobs will come open next year, maybe Tennessee. Somebody will hire a coach with his record of success and recruiting ability.

If he wants to coach he'll coach. This is just theatrics to comply with the letter of his contract so he can keep drawing that sweet severance.

I honestly don't know if it was Cam's fault or if it was Les meddling too much in the offense.

he along with phat phil and the former ark/om coach are all in the same boat. The game passed them by and they chose to not adapt.

I doubt he's jumping at jobs. He'll take one he really likes. I dont think he was that interested in Houston.

He's got it pretty easy without having to work.

I don't. He would still have a job if he wasn't so set in his ways. But he has plenty of money coming his way, so I doubt he really has a want to coach anytime soon.

He can only be a HC or position coach. No one would hire him as an OC.

There's still time to bring Miles back to LSU as Head Coach! He's been offered other HC jobs, but, he's holding out for his old job.

HE HAS LEARNED HIS LESSON, so, why not bring him home?

I still love Les. Not as head coach because of his stubbornness. If he could've stayed on in recruiting or something... could be a plus. Maybe when the aints trade Payton they'll hire him. I thank him for his Damn strong teams and wish him the best.
