Am told Nick Saban is expected to consider in-house candidates for #Alabama OC job: Sark, Mike Locksley & Billy Napier.

Consider, no doubt. Definitely one of them to get the job? I'd bet on the field instead of one of those three.

The whole time I was calling for Miles job there is no way in hell that I could have fathomed that LSU would handle the hire as flat out idiotically as they have.

I tried to warn everyone...

I told you exactly this would happen. Even down to Orgeron.

I tend to agree, especially with all the rumors out there about sark.

Well I'm actually happy Kiffin took the FAU job. For those of you saying this is a shitshow, who exactly said Kiffin was our number one choice. Wasn't this just speculation from the get go?

Literally every part of this is made up by posters. We don't know anything.

I see Saban got Junior the job he allowed him to get. I am sure he'll get paid better than an OC gets paid. They don't know it yet but they did us a favor. Like it.

Yes. Exactly.

He also may (try not to get your feelings into this part too much) think that LSU doesn't have enough talent outside of RB to do anything to build his personal reputation

Even as a Gump you'd have to admit we have a talented roster with poor coaching in the past. So I disagree.

Maybe. It might say that he, despite what people on a message board say...

I think you can lump that whole entire paragraph under what I said about the Saban influence.

I know the Gumps around are rejoicing. Your seemingly smug "high road" reply can't cover you disdain for LSU. It's probably a good thing in the long run for both parties in actuality. Maybe 4th time will be a charm for LK.

Not as funny as these numbnuts pinning their hopes on Joey Freshwater as some sort of savior.

This place is the damn Twilight Zone.

If that's the best gig Kiffin can get than have at it. If successful he won't be there long.

I think you have an extremely talented roster. I don't think the pieces are particularly complimentary of one another - or at the very least haven't been used in such a way to compliment one another.

I think Guice is a top 3 RB in all of CFB next year. You don't have a QB that causes anyone any concern, therefore the talent you have at WR can't be utilized in a way to stretch the defense.

I don't think anyone could have predicted how this went down.

I mean shite when we fired Mile exactly 0 people expected O to become HC. If anyone did they were ridiculed.....if that was you then I apologize sir

This is good news. I never understood the wisdom of hiring Kiffin. If beating Bama is one of our goals, you don't do it by hiring an offensive coordinator who Saban has had three years to learn inside and out.
