So you want to see a Prime example of Curly Hallman, I mean I don't know but I think Joe Burrow made Brady look damn good. I think Burrow was even more of a "on the field coach" than Farve. But I do think Brady has more OC abilities than Curly had any abilities.

No coach is going to come out and say "I DO NOT WANT TO THE LSU JOB". They are going to deflect and then come to work wearing purple for a few days and then get a raise and extension.

Woodward should be getting bottles of champagne from most power 5 coaches in the country when this is over.

this is my hang up with brady as well, he caught lightning in a bottle one year and parlayed that into an nfl oc role (good for him). the verdict is still out as to whether he'll become a long term great coach

Maybe after spending a couple seasons in the nfl he’s realizing play calling is more fun when you have better talent than your opponent and rethinking that recruiting stuff...

Exactly. Just ask Auburn

Can anyone confirm Brady hates recruiting?

He is about to lose his job. Read any of the local papers and listen to any of Rhules’ interviews and he describes an offense and coaching staff that has not adapted to life without McCaffrey…for two seasons.

1999 is the last time. And Mike Tomlin doesn't have to recruit, his name, his 7 AFC north titles, his super bowl, and his nfl record will recruit.

Show me one quote where he ever said that. I keep seeing this but never recalled it being documented anywhere. Is that a rumor or a fact? Considering he was only there for a VERY short time and had to implement the freaking offense I would be Ensminger did the recruiting, but what the hell ever.

It’s crazy that he hates to recruit,

It's crazy that any self-respecting man actually enjoys it.

I really don't get the posters who say he is a can't miss great HC. He came into a program with JB, JJ, JC and CEH...all NFL 1st rounders who have been really good their first few yrs in NFL. Will he become a great coach? possibly but 1 yr paired with the athletes we had and SE doesn't guarantee anything.

We had all of these same players the year before. Where was that historic offense in 2018?

The guy obviously can recruit. He had who may go down as the greatest college QB in the bag. Not to mention Rakim Jarrett and the other receiver who ended up at Georgia after Brady left.

Nice revisionist history there. Both Jarrett and Burton signed with other schools on December 15, 2019 while Brady and the Tigers were preparing to face OU in the playoffs and there was no indication that Brady would be leaving LSU. Hell, Matt Rhule was not hired by Carolina until January 8, 2020.

Mike Tomlin would make Saban and Orgeron both look like weak recruiters.

Let Mike Tomlin walk into the living room of any elite 5star recruit in the country and watch what happens.

The last time Tomlin was a college coach was 21 years ago. You are on drugs if you think that man makes any elite college recruiter scared.

Some of y’all are just plain dumb.
