I don't understand it either, the guy has done absolute dick to merit any high profile coaching job. Maybe he will surprise at Bama, but I am starting to think his wife is getting him these jobs. Honestly, I would hire Lane to tap his wife.

Nobody said they miss him. I said they act like they were happy while he was dipping out on them. They damn near killed him.

I'll say this, after having 3 head coaching jobs, including one in the NFL and the other two at very high profile colleges, it will take a very humbled person to come back to being an OC. It might be just what the dude needs to get his rep cleaned up. It may just work out for everybody involved. Could be a huge grease fire as well; Who knows how it will turn out?

The stigma will be limited to talking-heads and message boards. I am sure the staff is more concerned with actual results, not what some lackwit thinks about Kiffin.
