People are bad mouthing the hiring of briles because he is the best out there and they are scared shitless. To the people who wanted jimbo so bad the rape charges that were hanging over his QBs head didn't stop him from playing did it. No one knows what happened at Baylor. They needed a scapegoat and got one. Les needed a scapegoat when he was calling the plays and used his offensive coordinators as one. When the bosses get in trouble the lower man on the totem pole gets the ax.

So would you take a OC that has a 50 50 shot at winning you a national title with no baggage or one that has a 90% chance but has some baggage...its business..this is whats wrong with american its soft political correct stuff...no one wants to forgive someone....

Remember how we laughed about Kiffen being at Bama because he is a joke and all that talk....yea i hate to say it but whos laughing now

I'm seeing smoke coming from the LSU dumpster. Some of our fans wants to pour gas on the dumpster to see if it's really burning or not.

Briles and Kiffin aren't in the same league as far as troubles go. Guilty or not Briles name is right beneath Sandusky and Paterno. We wouldn't just be crucified by sports media. It would become national news and it would be ugly. Briles was a good coach against bad teams but against teams with 9 wins or more his record is abysmal. Luckily tigerdroppings doesn't reflect the true nature of LSU's fanbase.

Neither of their chances are that high, but you obviously haven't seen Briles' record against good teams.

OMFG

This is why people are trolling with Briles. Because of the dramatics like this. Grow up, Peter Pan.

There's probably nothing to fear. Unless you have Daughter at LSU.

Which makes me wonder...

If your daughter gets raped by a football player and it gets covered up, can she still wear white on her wedding day?

Then you don't care about LSU as an institution. It is a reputational risk that I would not want LSU to take.

And Briles himself said he didn't do the right thing. Weather he knew everything or knew nothing. He is toxic. He needs a couple years out of football to be forgotten. Then get his second chance.

If you play Alabama you have to fear murder, tree poisoning, and tea bagging.

Don't think Alabama fans should discuss morality.

Hiring Briles is something I'd expect from Ole Miss

Ok I would normally agree with you and would actually say; "WTF is Alleva thinking even contemplating allowing Briles to coach at LSU right after the debacle he left at Baylor"

Then I looked at who helped Orgeron put his booklets together and prominently highlighted under "Building a Championship Program" is the name of the current EX-CON on LSU's payroll Derek Ponamsky" So I guess anything is possible!!!

We don't let our football players gang rape volleyball players. This isn't a random psycho fan that should be on medication. That shite was covered up by the university, a supposedly religious university.

Yep. This isn't the NFL. There's much more to the reputation then just sports.
