Not with USC west open. It's probably the best after that.

Georgia could be a dominant program with the right coach. USC probably gets more prestige but Georgia has to be an attractive opening

Yes.

I think Georgia is the best job in the country.

Georgia has facilities, recruiting and resources that rival LSU and Alabama, but the UGA fanbase isn't as demanding and the job doesn't have quite as much pressure.

It's a fact, not an opinion.

UGA is better. Better stadium. Better facilities. Great recruiting territory. It's a great job.

Wonder if this is why Herman took himself off the board for South Carolina?

Yeah I know, but throwing "IMO" at the end of things is almost automatic now because if you don't people assume you're stating opinions as facts

UGA is in a great state for recruiting. While USC is a historic power that is the preeminent program not only in one of the largest states that produces the most NFL players but USC is the preeminent program west of the State of Texas.

If I'm a top tier coach I'm considering how long UGA gave Richt vs. the USCw constant coaching carousel and taking my talents to the east coast. UGA is absolutely the best job open.

Agree but then again the 2 programs likely attract a completely separate set of candidates; USC West coast type guys and UGA those interested in recruiting in Georgia/the Southeast.

maybe, but even that is debatable - and i am not so sure that we are fishing in the same pool anyway

a coaching candidate's recruiting ties will play into a decision like this

Kirby Smart is being mentioned as somebody that might get a look from UGA, but I don't think he would even be on the "B list" radar at SC
