Monken? You can't be serious. I can't imagine the melt if he was hired.

I like Smart a lot.

I know people are thinking head coach all the way, but Fisher was promoted from OC and it worked out.

Chip Kelly was too.

Monken will be the next IT name in a year or two. Book it. He would do very well here. He took over usm that was run I tot eh ground by Ellis Johnson and has built them back up. That 2011 okie state offense? Monken

A lot more composed than Muschamp

Spent a lot more time with Saban than Muschamp.

Got promoted to DC over Kevin Steele with noticeable results.

Also the defense at Bama have been insane while he was there. They were good at LSu, especially 2003, but the constancy at Bama has been amazing.

A job like LSU would be a leap too far. Maybe after success at another stop midway between USM and LSU would he be a legitimate candidate.

Fedora may be ok but I don't know that he can perform at the top levels. He did well at S Miss and now NC.

I would call Jim Mcelwain too, he seemed to talk good about us and can coach ofense. It looks like his buyout is 3.5million before Jan. 31, 2016.
Just an outside the box look, if he even took the call.

Jimbo

not top tier.

You heard it so it must be true mentality...you guys forget Auburn 2006...and much more....he can be just as frustrating...and hell he has been in the ACC...and even now he has fallen off there.
