You do not fire the winningest coach in your programs history, you wait for him to retire.

$6M on a coach with 3 losses to Navy, SMU, and Memphis in Conference America??? Seriously??
Texass screwed up royally with Strong and they have no choice but to go with the crowd favorite and pay him a lot of money. They are stuck in a bad spot.
Herman is no guarantee. Odds are 50/50 on him as a successful big time HC in a major conference.
