that LSU never pursued Napier in any way then we could be in serious trouble with Napier at Florida. Napier with Florida’s resources and a chip on his shoulder after getting “passed up” will be hell for years to come especially recruiting

I would say LSU and Florida both will likely be paying buyouts in 3-4 years. I wouldn't worry too much.

If Napier is more “hell” because he was not contacted than if he had been- then, he was never the right choice to begin with.

Since LSU got serious we have managed to level the playing field with UF. That includes beating Meyer more than losing to him.

Napier and Saban are going to be doing some serious cherry picking in the state of Louisiana. There’s plenty of talent in LA, it’s just going to be a little tougher to keep the top talent here as long as they are also fighting to get the players to leave. Napier already has all of the LA and Houston area connections. He will be going after the same players LSU is trying to get.

Maybe, maybe not. I still think Florida is the one who actually panicked and made a rush hire. Time will tell if it was a good one or not.
