Im joking by the way. I dont know if Saban entertained it but Texas did communicate the desire and salary to hire him. I think Saban would have quickly seen thru the bs and meddling boosters however and decided to stay where he has complete control.

I don't think so. Not sure the grandkid was born yet (they were expecting) and the son was living in Birmingham at the time.
Now Nick has a Mercedes dealership in Bham where both his kids work. His mom has been moved from WV to Bham to a senior community (this happened in 2012, I think).
