Jimbo hasn't signed anything nor has he verbally agreed.
The job HAS been offered to him and the ball is in his court. I've said it for a little while now, the job is his if he wants it and the powers that be want Aranda retained (major caveat).
ETA: The only way Fleck gets an interview is if Jimbo declines. Powers that be don't think he has near enough skins on the wall.

I was under the impression that the "deal" was basically the same as we had with him last year. Nothing is in writing yet, but it's kind of been a "done deal" for awhile now. Basically Jimbo has been very interested since last year and even after the fiasco last year, he was told it would be his this year if he wanted it.
Is this sort of what you have been told?

I was told that nothing as far as yes or no has come from the Jimbo camp. He has a standing offer. I've even seen "terms" mentioned on here, which my source said he doubts. The terms are very closely guarded. I wouldn't buy into ANYTHING that says "done deal" or has specific terms. I know of the standing offer and the stipulation that aranda has to be retained and given a raise with potential kick backs
