LSU has a better shot at getting Saban than Petersen. Jimbo isn't leaving FSU for LSU. If Texas fires Strong, they are getting Herman. In other words, lower your expectations and start looking for realistic candidates.

The fact is....
1. LSU is a top 5 job
2. Tom Herman is the right choice and if hired at LSU, the Tiga's would be scary good with talent he would be able to lure into Baron Rouge (LSU already getS the talent, but with his leadership, that would be a great combo)... Herbie said that today on College Gameday.
3. LSU is going to have to pay 5.5 + to get an elite couch. Below that, you're going to get a Fedora, Strong, Gundy, etc...
4. College football needs LSU as one of the marquee programs!
I personally, hope for LSU...it's Herman. If not, I hope a great one is hired for you!

Florida's a top 5 job and we settled for Mac, I just think you guys need to prepare yourselves for a strong mid-major coach not named Tom Herman.

Fleck from Western Michigan. Was just told about him in another thread I started and have to say he is going to be an up and coming Coach. Could come cheap and could stay for a while.

I don't know about this coach Fleck but these are the type of coaches we need to be finding and taking a closer look at. Find a diamond in the rough and not go for these retreads., Fedora kind of fits in that category but he is more of a known commodity but not a retread like jimblow

Peterson's a great choice, but he's at the same level of program right now and he's been in the Pacific northwest for years.
