Supa you have always been rational, probably more than I have.

I’m glad you haven’t fallen for this sham.

Well put. I just don't understand how people can continually look past his blatant lying, from the Joe McKnight stuff to all the stuff he did at Ole Miss to saying every job he was up for was his dream job to telling us we'd have the best staff in America.

He seems like a man who is so clearly out of his element that he's always in panic mode. He seems a poor leader.

You still have provided nothing in the form of proof for that. Even though you said you would.

Because he is a poor leader

Leaders don’t have to be manipulative, they don’t even have to be convincing, they just need to be resolute. We choose to get behind them, and let them lead us collectively.

You think Saban or Bellichick ever had to manipulate or convince anyone of their value or plan? No, they just stay the course and emphasize dropping the “me for we” so they always have buy in from EVERYONE.

Ed Orgeron is a mercenary, he isn’t a leader and the one thing Pat Haden got right was he was not the right person for the face of USC. I wish our carpet bagger AD and our weasel School President had enough sense to see the same thing for us

Your last four posts are all calling me out for copying Shea, and you say you have proof and have shown none .

Brother you're preaching to the choir.

His insecurity is palpable, and it is probably the thing I like about him the least.

I wish he would just quit.

What's the story on the catfight between the wives at the Miss State watch party?

Did that contribute to the downfall of Canada (and become a topic of conversation in the meeting with Alleva), as has been suggested here?

Youre some kind of special. The fact that you spell his name Oeaux confirms it. Your HC went from an OC that improved his offenses everywhere he's been to the guy who no one would hire. O even threw a tantrum about running things his way.

The thing we have learned from Saban and Miles is the never made it all about them, it was always “we” or “us”

CEO manages everything with himself in the forefront, his taking everything on “him” to get better and fix it, his lies, his humiliating the players in the media, his behind the scenes manipulations

This.

I always felt this hire was a disaster, but I tried to at least keep an open mind.

But in the wake of the MSU and Troy debacles, O proved without question how unfit he was to lead this team.

Reece Davis came to BR to interview O and O outed himself as the same in over his head, insecure, self absorbed, unintelligent, con artist he was at Ole Miss.

Davis asked O what was the most unfair criticism he had heard about this “team” over the past few weeks.

This was his response:

quote:

Orgeron was also asked for the most unfair criticism.

“That I should be gone. That I should be fired. That they should fire Joe Alleva,”

Mind you, this was after weeks of complaints that the players had quit on the team, weren’t focused, etc.

Any decent and self aware coach would have said the criticisms about the PLAYERS quitting was the most unfair thing being said.

But nope, this glorified PE teacher immediately goes into self preservation mode and goes into all the mean things being said about HIM, not about his TEAM.

Saban, Miles, any true leader would never melt in such obvious and pathetic fashion.

But in fact, O practically repeated the criticisms of his players when asked about the most FAIR criticisms of the team:

quote:

The most fair criticism?

“It doesn’t look like LSU football. We’re not physical enough on the line of scrimmages,” Orgeron said. “We’re not playing with enough energy. I can understand that.”

Basically said the criticisms of the players on the field are fair, but the criticisms of him are unfair.

It was an extremely telling glimpse into the thought process of a weak minded, insecure, low rent guy in a position that he has no business holding.

It is incredible to me that the same person that we saw at Ole Miss, the same guy that threw a tantrum and walked out on a team of “players he loved like sons” after not getting his “dream job” at USC, was rewarded with the head coaching job at LSU after being on campus for a year and a half and acting like he’s a lifelong Tiger.

He is a fraud, a con man, and an absolute embarrassment to anyone that actually has more than a recent connection to the university.

Agreed. So, who is holding him accountable? Is this all on Alleva?

I never thought the O hire made any sense. It has always reeked of cronyism and politics.
