Did Jimbo not work because of the dysfunctional organization that is LSu say compared to TAMU or 'Bama? Was it also money?

Thanks.

followed by Orgeron cutting him off completely and running the game himself. We did not score again and lucked out on an XP.

Why is this not at all surprising? Judas Freaking Priest. Orgeron is an insecure infantile egomaniac. Wow. He needs to be gone ASAP.

It sounds to me like O thought Canada was not being sound with personnel. Having N.B. start against Troy, Throwing M.B. in the middle of games, etc.

We are assuming M.B. would have come in and scored w/o turning the ball over. However, when he did get to play he threw int's pretty frequently.

I'm not defending O for the s.e. hire in anyway. Hell, I want the entire regime changed. however, this, to me, is shedding light that Canada didn't value what effect a turnover could do vs. O placing a big premium on not turning the ball over.

What percentage of boosters do you think will withdraw their support?

i'm betting their were boosters trying to get Orgeron and Alleva fired before. It isn't going to get better.

So, who officially made this decision? O obviously dug in for Ensminger and Alleva allowed this to happen. Is there anyone else that either (a) had to sign off on this; or (b) could have vetoed this but let it happen?

Then fire Alleva. He created this mess. I'm not really an O fan, but the guy won 9 games this year. You want to see coaches back away and recruits run? shitcan a guy who gets let go after a year because he only won 9 games and finished as a ranked team.

First rule of crisis management: Don't exacerbate the problem. Alleva is your problem, not Orgeron (right now). Alleva has done so many things to have his arse fired, from 2 bad hires in basketball to this whole coaching thing that I'm surprised he does not have a bounty on his head.

Maybe you could get Orgeron fired for cause, but it would be a stretch and a loser. He did not have a physical altercation with Canada. You could criticize him for overriding Canada, but are you really going to try to sell t a jury or the legal system that a boss can't be a boss? Are you going to have him canned for cutting off Canada in a game that we won even though he promised no interference?

Be careful what you wish for because you could end up blowing up the whole thing beyond repair and it will take a lot longer to recover.

I'd still fire both O and Alleva right now but as long as we have Aranda on staff, we have a better HC waiting to take over.

And yet season tickets will still be purchased

Cool. If it won't have any impact on season tickets, let's pull the trigger on my plan and fire them both now.

How many did he throw? Brenna played almost none at all. For crying out loud the Tide won the NC with a true freshman qB. Geezus. 0 never should have been hired. Whoever is responsible for his hiring as HC had malevolent intentions for LSu football so far as I am concerned.

I saw you mention that in another thread, but it didn't sound like "many". How do you know there will be many? Is that a guess or do you have sauces on that?

Here's the issue with this train of thought. If someone who had the power vetoed this hire it would have been bad for LSU long term. When higher ups start vetoing a head coaches hire it has a future negative impact: Any future head coach who sees this could be detered from coming to LSU because they won't be allowed to pick their own staff. Basically they see this as the administration neutering the HC THEY signed off on.

You must let O fail with his hires. I am glad Alleva or any other higher up let O have his way. That way when it all goes to shite we can say we gave the guy who he wanted and he fricked it up still. If the admins start making the staffing hires it gives O an out.

Alleva lives and dies with Ed.

I do so hope this to be true. The key is getting an AD with energy and vision and the ability to persuade what passes for leadership in LSU athletics to get on board. There is no reason LSU cannot be a FIRST rate CF program.

Orgeron is such a complete A$$hat. If you are inclined, could you provide a narrative on exactly how Coach Corndog came to be LSU HC? Geezus H.

Dave Aranda has a few intersting marks in his contract. He cannot entertain an SEC school until 2020. Period. He was given a HCIW tag as well

This is bullshite. Per NCAA rules, if we gave Dave HCIW tag he wouldn't be able to recruit.

It is a sad day when no one wants the job. Hopefully, we are headed for the darkest hour and the dawn is coming.
