Reading their boards they wish Herman would replace him because of their pro style offense and bend but don't break defense. They don't seem to concerned about him leaving. One poster said if it weren't for Jamies Winston Jimbo wouldn't have a title and would be the equivalent of Les miles. Interesting to read the other sides point of view.

Do you think our defense is like FSU's defense?

They should blame their administration for letting their national championship winning defensive coordinator leave for another DC job because FSU wouldn't pay him.

Absolutely not, just stating what they are saying. Personally I haven't seen them struggle on offense very often

Wait.

Haven't those FSU fans heard?

Herman's going to Texas.

They'll get Fedora and like it if Jimbo leaves.

This has to be a major attraction for him knowing we will pay for the best assistants

I have family in Tallahassee, many people want Jimbo gone. They look at him just like Les with wasting talent/"Anyone can win at FSU"/etc.

What I dont like about Jimbo is his tie to Trickett...their OL is hot garbage.

Problem with FSU fans, they think it's the 90's still, but never wanted to spend the money to keep up with the times. Just a thought.

Good for them. They're 2 years removed from a playoff appearance and 3 years removed from a team that scored 723 points in 14 games and won the NC.

No offense to FSU posters here, but that program was nothing before Bowden and his last years filled with probation. The job Jimbo has done there is remarkable.

Only the true asshats of the world think Jameis made Jimbo. Jimbo was coaching a dentist at QB to a NC in 2003.

That point of view is definitely the minority and not the majority. Most FSU fans consider him a Top 5 college football coach.

Are they getting fed up with Jimbo grabbing FSU by the balls two years in a row now?

FSU won a title just a few years ago. I would say they're doing fine

I read "Jameis made Jimbo" all the time on here.

Couldn't it be more likely that Jimbo made Jameis?

Winston playing at LSU under Les would have been another Brandon Harris.

This is a bullshite statement. Lots of 5 star stud QBs pick a school and go on to become jack shite. Ask Christian Hackenberg or Kyler Murray. Fisher is the reason Jamies became great.

They tried to give him more money but he was partying with the coeds and his fiance threatened to LEAve him if he did'nt leave the state. I wish he were back. Kelly is terrible. Malzahn tried to hire him. That shows what he knows about defense.

If Jimbo leaves I would be fine with Herman but he is probably locked in somewhere.

Others wouldn't bother me.
