Steve Czaban continues to say that Miles is putting on a show because he has to play in the BCS NC game. He claims that after the game, Miles will bolt for Michigan.

He said that until the Michigan job is filled, he will continue to consider Miles the front runner and doubts Miles'honesty about "helping them find a coach" .

I think they can have an opinion but then it seems Miles has to eventually defend himself again.

I agree.
Anybody who buys this crap needs their mind examined.
Funny, funny stuff.

Lack of trust/lack of integrity go hand in hand in this world. This is why the media doesn't let this story die. They don't get it, that Les Miles has integrity and can be trusted. So the media views their mission as being to destroy all credibility and sow seeds of doubt in fertile fields of inquiring minds who have nothing better to think about.

I don't buy into the conspiracy but the story written prior to his last bowl game at OSU sounded pretty familiar. I truly hope we do win the NCG because we are going to be in a world of hurt if he does pull the trigger the second week of January and catches Skip with his pants down again.

Nicely put...

I guess those with no integrity and credibility have trouble understanding it....

Kind of sad, really...

No one knows if Miles can be trusted YET. When he stays at LSU THEN people will know. Until then there is nothing to base trust on.

You can bet that people, other than Skip, have their finger on the pulse of this situation.
Until UM hires someone, there is a list and a few folks are checking it twice.
If he pulls the trigger, expect DelRio to be hired within 48 hours.....book it.

So far he has not shown anything to indicate he shouldn't be trusted. Despite inaccurate assertions about his hiring by LSU, he was consistent and honest in what he said then. He pretty much kept his mouth shut when asked about LSU and made no false statements as far as I can find.

Since he has not been shown to have acted duplicitously in his dealings thus far, I will continue to trust him until his actions prove otherwise.

And no one knows he can't be Trusted!

You view the glass as half empty if you want...
I'll go with half full!

He seems to be a man of honor and integrity, until he proves otherwise, his word is good with me.

You and the other cynics can reserve judgment and continue to think the worse of people.

But remember, Not everyone's a NICK!

Les will stay! Mich has passed on by. Expect something big after their Jan. 1 bowl.

Any truth to the rumor that U. Meyer and the Fla. AD do not get along?

uh, miles wasn't honest when he was hired by LSU. he was spouting off the same things to OSU fans that he's saying now. no one is going to trust him until michigan hires a new coach.

Someone put it best today - Those who have no integrity think no one else does either.

Ok State was a different situation. T Boone Pickens hated Miles and was making his life miserable. He withheld a $165 million dollar gift to the university until after he left.

If a guy like that is trying to undermine you and a better job comes along, wouldn't you take it?

Link?

No link, because it's not true...

But if thinking it is true helps sooth the pain of not getting LES, go ahead...we don't mind!

I think the recent behavior (double talk) of other coaches will create doubt in the minds of everything Miles says.

All situation are different, ask Saban.
Miles has never admitted to talking to Michigan until it was exposed by the media. Just like the Oklahoma Sate situation, Miles has always maintained that his mind is on the next Bowl game.
