Texas: Sources tell FootballScoop representatives of the University of Texas do not believe Tom Herman has agreed to become LSU’s next head coach and are on there way now to meet with his representatives. This is getting real…

It was leaked on purpose. I wouldn't doubt sexton leaked the deal.

That shite is being leaked by someone to gain leverage. I thought the whole time Jimbo was a diversion. Too much noise in his corner.

The shite is done guys. Orangebloods ran with a source who's an assistant coach expecting to be on Hermans staff here.

If anyone leaked it, it was Herman

I agree. Sure seems like someone from UT was butt hurt. Honestly don't see how this could help them in any way with Herman though. I'd be ticked at UT if I was Herman.

It sounds like a group of boosters trying to gin up something. A lot like LSU and Fisher last year, smoke but nothing official. My post from the other thread:

We Need A Big Blowout Win For Texas

This more than anyone knows! A friends brother is a well connected lawyer in San Antonio and he claims there is a faction of boosters that will attempt a "coup" to place Herman as coach, if Texas goes down vs. TCU. The biggest thing working in LSU's favor is that there appears to be several internal camps fighting for influence. They range from keep Strong, to Herman, to other options (obviously, that isn't breaking info).
