I was shocked at this also. I couldn't imagine Jimbo wanting Pelini out of everyone else. But this person knows way more about the situation than I do and have no reason to doubt him.

I'd love a Fisher and Pelini combo. They only coached together one season right? Not sure how connector they still are. Pelini was the best DC we have had in a long time. His style and intensity is what I miss. I heard him speak once and it was the most insightful defensive commentary I've ever heard. And the recruiting question was asked to which he laughed and said it was one of his favorite parts of the job. Some people are better suited for a coordinator role and if ever there was one its him
