Minority hire? Franklin, Aranda YES! Mel Tucker has shown he knows how to work transfer portal but may be a flash in the pan. Not bad choices.

I have faith in Woodward, but at the end of the day, he will do whatever Tate tells him to do. If a diversity hire is indeed the direction LSU insists on going, there are much better qualified coaches out there, such as Aranda and Franklin. If Michigan State tanks and Tucker is hired anyway, how will the high dollar donors respond?

I know, Mel Tucker shouldn’t even be considered for this job, but alas, here we are. Race shouldn’t even be a factor, hire the best guy.
