I think they realized they screwed up. They really shouldn't entertain any info of a deal between a coach and a team from insiders of a school that isn't the team making the deal.

I agree, but they've been asking him about it after every single game so far, except the game that we finally get solid rumors of his replacement. Just odd.

And of course now ESPN is firing up the old "durr why not give him a shot??" Schtick.
