That gives coach O a big advantage as the favorite. Or lose a few and hope for a big hire?

He was HC during a lot of wins, not the most in LSU history. Coaching =/= wins.

So Les doesn't get credit for his success? Only blame for his deficiencies? You don't average 10 wins a year for over a decade, win and play for NCs, and win multiple SEC championships in a division inhabited by Saban for a lot of your tenure w/o knowing what you're doing FWIW.

It's kind of an interesting question. Think about it like this. Orgeron was 6-1 in conference as interim at USC. Obviously he can get guys to buy in and play mid season. There's a decent possibility he could go 7-1 from here out. In my opinion he's got 4 more big "If" games. Not out of realm of possibility to go 3-1, or even 2-2, and win a bowl game in convincing fashion.

If that does happen, how torn is the fan base if you let him go, and bring in someone who struggles for a couple years? Most likely the more he wins, the higher up the pecking order get goes when it's time to make the choice. IF he wins out but you could get Herman do you do that?

No, we don't want an SEC title.

That'll just make it more appealing to Herman and Jimbo.

Yep. You'll see. It's quite apparent you don't watch many of our games. Arkansas fans certainly don't know what winning championships takes, so I understand why you'd think that.

Would you want fat Bert replaced by goofy Les?

You obviously have not watched LSU the last 4 years.

Early Les won due to Saban's program was intact. We were disciplined and had a QB coach. Les was not good after that except for 2011 when we had a great defense and a QB that had been developed elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and go watch every game the last 4 years and come back and tell me what a genius or great coach Les is. I'll wait for your return.

Do you even watch your own team? LSU's QBs in 2011 were Lee and Jefferson who weren't good, but weren't "developed elsewhere." LSU's offense that season was actually quite good statistically but it gets a bad rap for one glaring obvious reason. LSU won 10 games in 2013 and essentially did last year, a full decade after NS's departure. Also why does Saban get credit for '07? It was all Saban's program three seasons after he was gone? Lol.

Yes I would take 10 wins a year and two conference titles in a heartbeat and I wouldn't give a frick how it was done or how it looked.

Tell me the last time Les won a conference title. And tell me his record in the SEC west last 4 years.
If you would trade fat Bert for Les you would be an idiot and one of the only pig fans to do so.
