LINK

Good move for both parties, if Babers can win at UCF he'll get a good P5 gig.

No link because I'm in the car, but SiriusXM 84 is reporting that Babers is saying "Not so fast" regarding stories saying he has accepted the Central Florida gig.

Yeh. He tweeted out that he's only focused on his game Friday.

It's likely he's gone, but it just got out early. The social media of today's world can easily ruin anything.

Babers can win at UCF. Florida athletes in that passing scheme will be a monster!

Apparently his buyout drops by 100k tomorrow, so that explains that

Babers ended up being SOL for a Big Ten job as Purdue didn't dump their coach and Illinois and Minnesota hired their interims. Not that Minnesota was seriously looking at him but I really thought that Babers would end up at Iowa State or Illinois.

If Babers doesn't go to UCF I would like to see Carolina.

I don;t see that as a bad fit. The offense Babers likes to run reminds me A LOT of the well run Mizzou offenses when Franklin was their QB and they won the east. Mix in a little run to keep the D honest, throw to the back occasionally but go 4 or 5 wide, REALLY spread the field and make teams press cover to stop you and have the horses to occasionally beat them over the top.

Wouldn't be impossible for him to get the talent to win 8-10 games at USC.

Illinois was not as attractive program so they took themselves off the market. Ucf job is better than the Illinois job, just like I told you.
