Id like to see an OL thats physically dominant AT LEAST to the point that a HARVARD transfer has no shot to start at Center for 2-3 years!

Thats not too much to ask is it??

Moffit was good back at Tennessee and early days of LSU. Just because he was here for 20 years doesn’t meant he was great.

I’m not sure Moffitt is the issue.

Regardless like I said some have speculated he’s nearing retirement and a new coach is obviously going to want a guy that’s around for at least another 5 years.

Hard to tell when scheme could be wrong. They didn’t look bad against Florida.

Scheme can put OL on skates too.

And let’s be honest about injuries. Some players did not want to be out there, and you can get hurt if you’re not fully into the game.

He's a loudmouth that needs to go. I would feel differently but you can't help but see that our linemen are big time out of shape. Non athletic, soft, and injury prone. He supposed to deliver an athlete that's ready to execute what they have to do at a high level.
Both sides.

I think people here have to recognize that Moffitt is probably doing absolutely everything possible. There's no special ingredient as every school has their own world class S&C coach.

Then why did Nick Saban try to hire Moffitt last year?

Funny that rantards would take Cochran and he learned from Moffitt. Moffit can set up a regimen or program for a particular player, but can't make him get in the gym or shape. Thats on the players and coaches. The coaches control who gets on the field and those not buying into the conditioning should never play and be shown the door.

I understand letting Kelly do his thing, but is there a reason people are saying that moffitt sucks now?

No the question was whether Kelly would try to bring his Strength coach with him. Jimmy Ott just had a guy that covers Notre Dame and is an alum, knows lots of boosters and Admin folks and They have already gotten the strength coach to stay. So whoever is hired, that position is set.

The same guy stated that he thinks the Notre Dame Admin wants stability. His guess is that Freeman gets promoted to HC, Rees is the OC/Assistant HC and most of the staff is retained.

I don't know the guys name, Murray I think it was.

So you’re saying he just coaches the offensive line, because the defensive line and all the other positions looked in pretty good shape. I guess Clarke was a weak fat arse too.

Good. He needs to go

He used to be but he’s relying more on reputation these days than production.
