I think Kelly will whip them into shape regardless, or they will be off the team. Seems like O ran practice pretty light, things will probably change.

If he was great in the past then it falls on the coach to tell him to step it up or your gone next year. He will be just fine with some motivation and wanting to impress the new coach

Idk our entire team being fat and out of shape or rail thin.
Look our our linemen and look at Bama’s

I could put half a Kardell on 2 Tommy Moffitts!

I have been seeing a lot of people say not just that he won’t be retained but that they don’t WANT him to be retained.
There are a lot of very stupid people posting on the topic. Moffit is among the most decorated active D1 S&C coaches, and was selected top in his field in 2019.

Moffitt is good at his job. If Moffitt is retained, I trust that Brian Kelly will accurately communicate what his expectations are from a fitness, weight, speed, etc. standpoint and that Moffitt will adjust workout programming accordingly to reach those goals. If he doesn't, Brian Kelly will manage his staff and make a change. That's how it works.

vic went to baylor with aranda
Hadn't realized that.
Makes sense, that Baylor S&C has improved and LSU has regressed.
I know what I saw of Vic, he is an intense guy with incredible work ethic. Aranda made a good pull there.

How many on this board has actually been to practices or workouts?

Your the IDIOT wanting QB Caleb Williams when we already have Walker Howard coming ; + Brennan could stay; Max & Nuss too.
Caleb played like poo poo vs pathetic Kansas going SCORELESS in 1st Half! Throwing for only 87 yards vs Iowa State No thanks

it’s time to use the deer antler spay aka HGH since the NCAA doesn’t test for it

Moffitt hasn’t been top tier for a while now.

You didn’t have to be at practice to know bo pelini was trash. Field results speak for itself.

Players are out of shape and prone to injury. Moffit has gotten lazy.

Did I miss something? Moffitt WAS one of the best in the business.
FIFY.
I don't know the reason behind it, but he seems to have slipped a bit over the last several years. Maybe it's disinterest, conflict of philosophy with Orgeron, being stuck in his old ways, etc...I dont know. But fact of the matter is that our OL have been out of shape and we seem to have had a higher number of injuries.

We've been weaker than the competition for like a decade now. Exhibit a is our lack luster O-line play... consistently out matched.
