Just curious as to what y'all think of him. right now he is 7-0 so his stock is rising. (He could lose the next 3 and his stock be on the "50% discount table.)

Is he even on anyone's B or C list?

One reason I'm asking is if Jimbo leaves FSU for LSU or TX or anywhere, I suspect Holgorsen's name will pop up as a potential replacement. (The last coach we hired from WVU turned out pretty well. )

Disclaimer: He wouldn't be on my A list. Just wondering what y'all think.

ive always liked him and wondered why he never gets mentioned.

not saying he's a good fit at LSU, but he should at least be mentioned in conversation for other big openings.

Imo his name will be out there next yr when he has a real QB starting.

Grier is gonna tear it up in that offense imo

He has been pretty Meh at WVU since 2011, and this years hot start is probably due to a very favorable early schedule.

BYU is the best team they have played so far and they are 4-3

Last season I wanted him fired but our team looks really good this year. It's refreshing seeing him play defense and commit to a running game.

I think WVU is the type of job he will max out at though. He lives a rough lifestyle and I am not sure being at a blue blood is a good idea. In Morgantown and can lay low and nothing gets leaked to the media. Him and Huggins both have someone that goes out with them to make sure they don't do anything stupid.

I have to to give him credit though, he has matured into a pretty good HC.

Decent coach. But probably not the type of coach/guy that would fit in well at LSU

Yeah, Holgorsen has that Leach-esk quality where it seems he'd thrive best at a place a bit more off the grid. In the SEC that's a place like State.

Forgetting the exact circumstances but wasn't he known for stabbing the HC at the time in the back, while waiting to take over? Did he not get drunk in a casino & get tossed out? He does not have the best rep in the world either way & just watching him the way he treats his players on the sidelines reminds me of Kelly at N.D.>>>>> a dick.

Holgorsen is a WVU, Miami, Texas Tech, Louisville type guy.

Would not be a great fit at LSU.

But I would rather have a beer or two with him than a guy like Saban.

Dam. That's what they usually do for 19 year olds. That's pretty sad lol.

Holgorsen apparently has a standing reservation at a hotel in Morgantown near the bars so he has somewhere to sleep when he gets shite faced at college bars and can't go home to his family.

He's a sleezy guy too. Hell of an offensive mind though.
