Mullen to Miami.

Coley comes to LSU as QB coach/OC. Brings Kaaya with him.

Edited.

Coley would be a really good hire for LSU.

Not sure what Mullens is making at Moo State but the U notoriously pays low scale and the facilities are horrible, the stadium itself is a 45 min to an hrs drive from campus. Of all the openings, why there?

1) You're living in Miami, and not Starkesville, Mississippi.

2) Access to all the talent in Southern Florida / Miami.

3) No longer in the SEC.

- All of which, IMO, are upgrades for a coach. Coaching in the SEC is only fun if you have access to top-tier talent. Miss State is one of two major schools in a good (not great) recruiting state.

Granted, I don't think Starkville is nice, but the idea of having to live in Miami depresses the shite out of me.

I bet a lot of people think of it as a paradise (perhaps you and most NJ folks), but I'm betting a lot of people on this site would loathe it.

It's time for Mullen to get out of there. Not much more he can do there.

Crazy that Barrett doesn't know how to spell his own last name.

There is a lot more to Miami than South Beach and Liberty City. Coconut Grove is one of the most fantastic places on earth.

Actually, living in Coral Gables which is where all of the mega-rich Cuban dissidents live. That is a super swanky neighborhood and Mullen would be the trashy neighbor. He would have to learn Spanish though, as the Burger King right off of campus has a Spanish first menu.

However, as long as he landed 2 or 3 of the skill players at Glades Central every year he would have more talent than half the ACC.

Everything 'south' starts looking fantastic at this time of year.

I've done a lot of traveling in S. Florida. It's just not a cultural fit for me, and I'm guessing, a lot of others like me. And I'm not a redneck, FWIW, it just doesn't appeal to me at all.

I have never been a fan of South Florida. It's a weird place and the people there generally disgust me when I've been. It's obviously attractive to some people but I would live in a place like Auburn, Oxford or Fayetteville 10/10 if the money was the same
