I'd rather have Les back
What is it about Mullin that you would want Les? Does he have a poor offensive philosophy that he will not change? Poor clock management that costs games? Sound like an idiot when interviewed? The talent that he has to work with is far less than the upper level SEC teams but manages to win most of the ones that he's supposed to win. I would think probably on the level of Kentucky after the recruiting classes are castrated by Ole Piss, LSU and Bama.

What is it about Mullen that you'd be okay with him more than Les? What has he ever done better than Les? And do you not find it odd that no big programs have ever offered him? Plenty of jobs have come open when he was at his height at State. Penn State (he's from PA) and Florida (OC there under Meyer) immediately come to mind. Neither offered. Don't think he was even interviewed for either job.

Don't care both are better masterminds than him
He isn't balanced enough
Don't care if it's Mississippi St, he is not an elite coach at all. Herman and Saban may have had losses but they both did more with less on scheme.
Even in Mullens best season which he had a heavy senior and experienced team he still absolutely worked towards the backend with a Heisman contending qb.
He just seems too tame as well
He hasn't shown enough even with a pass heavy offense outside of two superstar qbs
Give me O and OC over him as a HC if that's what it comes to

Honestly... it's his face. I hate it

No. He looks too much like "Thomas the Train".

Dak Prescott made Dan Mullen a much better HC than he really is. Having an incredible QB like that will make any coach look good like he's doing right now for Jason Garrett.

He's more proven
What has he proved? That he can't win shite?
I'll repeat what I said: Mullen is more proven/accomplished than Herman.
