Many have said that the next coach needs to be an offensive minded coach. Mullen (Florida's NC winning OC under Meyer) does ok at Miss State even though he has to split his in-state talent with Ole Urine and LSU/Bama pluck the rest every year. LSU would be an upgraded job for him for sure. He can develop a quarterback (Prescott, Tebow, Alex Smith). Your thoughts on Mullins getting a look from Aleva? Would he thrive or bust with the talent that LSU would provide him?

Edit: You do realize that he has Kentucky or Vanderbilt talent after his recruiting classes are castrated by Ole Piss, LSU and Bama right? When he had the talent at UF he won NC's right?

The dude lost to South Alabama and Kentucky this year. They'd be lucky to win 2 more games this season. No.

Wouldn't be the worst case by any means. He would do really well at LSU. But most likely no.

He's more proven than Tom Herman.

How many coaches would make Miss State a top 3 team? (Even if it didn't end that way)

Miss State is rebuilding. It's Miss State.

Sabah lost to UAB
Herman lost to SMU
Bla bla bla

His offense isn't balanced enough!!

No!

And he hasn't proven a passer outside of two tremendous talents

Herman and Fisher both proven more with multiple qbs and yet still feature rushing

I want a coach who can get the most out of talent in the passing game yet still features a great running attack

Mullen would be atrocious

I'll take Bert over Mullins. And Bert would absolutely disgust me

Not really. Tom Herman has won a NY6/BCS Bowl. Dan Mullen has not. Dan Mullen is like 2-29 against ranked opponents. Herman is 5-0 against ranked opponents.

Dan Mullen would be an awful hire, and I'm not even sold on Herman
