Sweet insult baw. You're the coolest. Richt has been one of the winningest head coaches in the country the past 15 years and he's gonna come be the OC for Les Miles? That is laugh out loud funny. The dude is gonna take a HC job.

dude might not want that

he misses coaching quaterbacks our want and need is as big as anywhere

Not to mention LSU pays their assistants more than anyone, for obvious reasons.

I watched his press conference where everyone is getting the "he misses coaching quarterbacks and wants to be an OC" line from. He is spurned by UGA. He is pissed he got fired. He is going to be a HC somewhere for that reason and because he is a great coach. What head coach with his resume in the history of college football has just decided to go be a quarterback coach somewhere? These guys have egos. Even Richt.

probably accurate and I don't see why he wouldn't land a very good HC job. Don't kill my dream lol

Agreed we need this

I just set up a scenario where Richt is OC and AA sponsor to Sarks who will help coach Qbs

Richt is a good dude time to give back to less fortunate offenses

Maybe this was the F. King coaching search secret playbook the whole time.

Pretend to fire Les. Wait for Richt to get canned. Bring back Les. Bring in Richt. Profit.

yep we look like we were serious about disappointment, but good guys. Richt is no doubt intrigued.

This only happens if he wants to lay low for a year or 2 until the right HC job opens up, like kiffin and muschamp are doing.

Seems like Miami would jump at a chance to get him though.

I don't disagree with this rationale as this is likely the case.

What if would he brought as OC/HCIW pending a future near term retirement by Les (on his own terms). Unlikely, but LSU admins may have to be creative to entice someone to come in to that position given the current clown show.

LSU would be more of a fixer upper instead of a complete buildout/renovation.

He would be the best fit here.

Finally bring in a tremendous QB and actually have him ready to play.. be hands on.. and yet still have a strong running game. I think if Miles was to ever let an OC have full reigns.. he would be the guy.

Throw the bank at him. Would make up for everything.

Second in-game highlight

Watching that again puts into perspective how fricking horrible our QB play has been at LSU with Miles at the helm. Didnt Lee throw 3 pic-6's in that game?
