Exactly how was the ship righted? Completely uninspired, predictable offensive showing against the only 2 legitimate defenses we played.

We had over 400 yards of offense and should have scored more than twenty points. While the offense was not spectacular it was very good, except in the red zone.

That said CEO needed to win out--we need to move on.

Reality is Guice cost us the game, not O. Guice made two critical mistakes leaving 12-14 points on the field. I like Guice and am glad we'LL have him next year, but he has some growing to do this off season.

I don't think they're really considering O any more.

THIS.

O had to win the SEC or a natty to be seriously considered. All that crap was a smokescreen.

Toss Dive cost 2 coaches, at same school in same season, their jobs.
Their are rules about talking to coaches before season end. Obviously coaching search firms talk to agents and that lays all the groundwork ahead of time. I assume they will have some fake interviews, just for the optics and by Monday they will announce Jimbo as head coach.

They're saying his plan will include Kiffen and that he actually stands a good chance to pry him from Saban. This will be tempting for Alleva and Co.

THIS is the stupidest shite EVER

it's impressive. but whether u get Kiffin or not, Orgeron should not be considered for this job. On Saturday, he looked as clueless on the sidelines as Les usually does.

As a recruiter and DL coach he knows his stuff. He has a great niche. He needs to stay in his sphere of influence and not venture out.

As an in game coach responsible for instant decisions and offering leadership for his players and his assistant coaches he looks just like he did at Ole Piss - a clueless moron. It is not his game and above his competency level. No shame in that. Very few people can coach an SEC team. It does not take a rocket scientists by no means. But there are certain skill sets and intangibles a person must possess. He ain't got it!!!

no way alleva makes a decision based around a short term OC hire, not worried there.

This has to be a home run hire for the long term of this football program. You do not hire Coach O just if he has a "chance/plan" to get an offensive coordinator.

If he doesn't choose Texas right away, LSU hopes to meet with him sometime over the weekend.

So, we're sitting around waiting to see if he chooses Texas or not, and if not, we hope to try and meet with Herman???

Are you SERIOUS??!

THAT is the plan?

We are doomed. We have incompetents running the show. We would have been better off letting Les decide on his own to fix things after going 8-4 this year with top 5 talent.

I would lean to a major Alleva choke job taking place. Alleva has had over two months to initiate contacts, vet, and move forward with offers. This seemingly frantic circle jerk taking place indicates that He was planning on taking the easy politically safe course(as would be expected) and giving the job to O. With O screwing the pooch, Alleva seems to be in panic mode. If he would have already had a top choice committed and hooked, we wouldn't be seeing this except for a smoke screen. So far, Alleva hasn't shown the ability to formulate a smoke screen. His knee jerk sheetshow at Duke speaks volumes about his love of the easy PC route.

If Alleva hires Coach schmO based on some incredible and unverifiable promise that he'll bring in Kiffen, just burn Tiger Stadium down with the entire Athletic Department inside. Hiring O would be one of the dumbest choices in the dubious history of our AD.

Kiffin is not a great offensive coordinator. He's largely carried by that Bama defense.

Retire from football commentary forever. Nobody has ever said anything dumber than your quote. He has serious character questions but he's as good as anyone at OC.

You realize we keep lowering the bar for good ole Coach O. 1-2 in November with a total of 10pts scored in 2 HOME losses and yet we think it might work.

Only in a state like LA.

What have you heard lately Lebowski? You were really confident before it was going to be Jimbo.
