You disagree that Miles preferred recruiting OL that would support his offensive philosophy?

Wizard!

So, if your shitty favorite coach gets another job are you going to follow him there? I can speak for most when I say that we hope you, Beefense, Choctaw, Rickydaddy, and a few others follow your hero to whatever backwoods college desperately hires him. It won't be a large scale job because he was and still is a shitty football coach. When Ed Oregeron is a large improvement over your previous head coach, , that's saying something.

I think our predictability is what hurt the offensive line. When you are a team with a stout front and/or you know the toss dive is coming it's a lot easier to stop...stack the box...especially when your passing game was suspect for years.

I'd bet Grimes and the Oline under Canada we be much improved

Are their any good coaches available that can recruit the west coas? California has just as much talent as Texas or Florid. Florida is flooded with great recruiting coaches and we already have a good hold on Texas. Going out west might be a great option for us.

We did under Miles. Orgeron needs to keep our hold on east Texas.

It is a much more difficult sell to get players to come across the country. Sure, it happens, but not worth the investment in time or resources.

The Union insisted that BeeFense and Rickdaddy get a couple hours a day off, Gray is their backfill

Gray is just trying to solidify his position as the board laughingstock.

Who has he recruited that's "Great" and an SEC Caliber difference maker?

Nobody.

The team is full of OL's that couldn't make Bama's second team OL and shouldn't even be at an SEC school.

What about that Pass Blocking that vanishes and breaks down against Big Boy SEC teams?

They're inconsistent across the board and don't play together as a unit.

I Really don't know what some of you are looking at.

You know what might help the OL too? Not calling slow developing pass plays.

That was a beef of mine all year. 3rd and 18 and we're running play action.

There are so many skill players in California looking for a place to land at the next level, and most of them have to leave the state. LSU has to be an easier sell than Wyoming.

Pete Jenkins is not a good DL coach -- he is a GREAT DL coach who helped mentor both Aranda and O. We have him for one more year, hope it is two because the kids will get a education from a Hall of Fame DL Coach and our DL will excel under him.

Houston and SE Texas has a lot of talent with ties to Louisiana. It's been that way for a long time. The displaced families from Katrina & Rita have added to those numbers in recent years. LSU must continue to recruit the area successfully.

Mateos didn't step into the TE Coach role and suddenly make them relevant. That was Ensminger calling plays that actually put the TEs in position to do more than just block for the ground game. He finally got to showcase what the TEs he's been coaching can actually do, when the offensive playbook goes beyond the back of page 1.

This class and the '16 group are solid.

We played the entire season with virtually no true SEC OTs. The pass protection was definitely not a strength of this team. I believe we will be much better this season.
