I have no problem with Orgeron taking the opinion of one of the brightest defensive minds in college football.

Why wouldn't you ask your top-5 DC who he wouldn't want to have to scheme against?

You are confusing the fake posts the athletic department is putting out with fan support. Most fans wanted Helfrich; Canada was not even in the discussion at the time. For whatever reason (and I'm not saying it's wrong or bad) LSU was more interested in Canada, so the athletic department posted all kinds of "fan" support for him on here.
