Bear fans problem with Brick is..well...there Bears fans. The 80's and Sweetness and Ditka are long gone and now they have a QB that looks like he belongs in porn with that pornstache he sports.

LSU can do better than this. There's NOTHING very impressive on that guy's resume. Miss.State, c'mon!

Why would an NFL position coach take a demotion to a be a position coach in college? What's the Chicago Bears DL done the last few years?

Haley played linebacker in college and has coached mostly LB's. What's he gonna do for our DL? Really, answer that? But hey, he's AA, so lets sign him up and let em get to work recruiting, huh. Hope Miles doesn't go this route again.

I'm struggling to figure out why Brick would leave an NFL DL gig for a college DL gig... with seemingly no connections to LSU...?

Well, apparently he is no longer employed by the Bears. He may seek other jobs in the NFL, but college salaries have really increased over the past few seasons, so if he can't land a gig in the NFL, he could definitely look at some college teams. Most of the NFL jobs will be filled out by the end of week.

Also, since he was born in Alabama and a coach at Miss. State, he clearly has some background with the SEC, and we will probably offer him the best $ in the conference.

yes, he has developed some great D-linemen, and they have a tendancy to get a lot sacks.
