No. I just don't want a guy who helped cover up rape or was too stupid to go to the police about it be associated with the LSU program. Is that such a crazy stance to take?

We have Ed Orgeron as our head coach, at this point I'm willing to sell my soul for the best offensive coordinator money can buy.

If I'm supposed to forget about O's 3-21 SEC record at Ole Miss, I can forget about whatever Briles has been allegedly involved in at Baylor.

You're probably right, which is why you try to mitigate reputational risk by not hiring someone who is already tainted. This is not difficult to understand.

If Briles covered it up, he would be in Huntsville right now. It's been a year and nothing has given the DA to indict Briles on . Nothing . This is more of a media frenzy to bust a conservative school on a double standard.

Yes as stated it's a media frenzy and it ain't over that's why he is not getting mentioned. Go read the damn list of candidates do you see Art Briles on any of them other than the one on CCB?

What he did at Baylor was special.

What he did was fools gold. They play a complete joke schedule and his record against good teams was horrible. Won less than 25% of his games against teams that ended the year in the top 25.

He was 2-21 against teams that finished with 9+ wins.

Most overrated coach in football.

Yikes. That's garbage.

Put me in the I don't want anything to fricking do with him crowd. O talked about finding guys with character and teaching them how to become better men. You can't say that out one side of your face and hire Art fricking Briles out of the other. He literally did what Joe Pa did, but because the victims were coeds instead of boys, the pitchforks on here have remained hypocritically in their holsters.

Can't put him on the list. Loose lips sink ships.
Then someone would pick him up and place him on the "shadow sqad"

Didn't Coach O serve a 26 week domestic violence rehabilitation program in 1991?

Come on the Hamilton paper should be enough to at least call for a grand jury, but it's not . Why ? It's mostly circumstantial bs. I am not even a lawyer and concluded that.

Look guy, for many if not most of us this is bigger than football. If we need a rape enabler to beat Bama then count me out and Roll Tide.

Jesus.

Just because he hasn't been criminally charged or convicted of a crime doesn't mean he took steps that a normal human would take or that he didn't more than likely to an extent turn a blind eye to rampant rape. I don't need to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he broke a law to conclude the guy is a piece of shite. My brain isn't a criminal court of law. I want no part of Briles and anyone whose priorities aren't arse backwards more than likely would agree with me.
