Guilty or not the guys name is forever stained. If you can look past your greed for one second you could see how bad of a hire this would be for LSU. With a new coach we don't need this kind of PR. This hire would be talked about outside of sports networks. It would be on national news where LSU would be crucified.

So perception is reality even though if it's proven beyond a shadow of a doubt Briles is proven not guilty on all counts. that's seems fair. The biggest issue I have with America: we overly judgmental of athletes and coaches.

There's also that element to it. Regardless of whether you think Briles took every step required and beyond with regards to rape allegations, it would be a PR disaster far, far beyond simply making a bad football hire. All around NOPE

And left them in a huge bucket of shite.

We're in a age where it's essentially guilty until proven innocent and the victims would have to come out and say they lied for people to truly forgive Briles. The only name recently that somewhat repaired his image is Michael Vick.

You don't understand burdens of proof, do you? Again, whether or not he could be found guilty of a crime in a court of law doesn't affect whether or not he is a piece of shite that I don't want associating with my university.

Liberty University just hired Baylor's former AD who was also fired for the "alleged " coverups. Liberty university is about as right wing conservative of a school as they come.

still not convinced his style of offense will allow us to field a top 10 defense regardless of how much better athletes we have

This is my only concern. I could give a dann about the PR dude of it.

I love his offensive scheme. Averaged 350rushing and 300 passing his last year. That's ridiculous. But he did it partly by running 90 plays a game. I don't know how aranda would feel about that hire.

I need to research his TOP...one moment

We have Ed Orgeron as our head coach, at this point I'm willing to sell my soul for the best offensive coordinator money can buy. If I'm supposed to forget about O's 3-21 SEC record at Ole Miss, I can forget about whatever Briles has been allegedly involved in at Baylor.
