What could he have done differently, though?

He could have not hired Caldwell. He could have not hired johnny Jones. He could have not allowed last year to turn into a shitshow with Miles. He is just not getting it done. I huope he gets fired, not just for this, but because he is just not a good leader or negotiator, apparently.

LSU brand hasn't been in a more negative spot since before 2000. I'd say it's time for him to go.

This is Alleva's career-defining hire at LSU and the best he could come up with is a list of 2 possible candidates?

So Texas to hire Herman and Herman lures Aranda to Texas , we get stuck with O , Alleva, and Bradly Dale peveto ....

Seems about right

If we lose Aranda in this deal I will gladly volunteer to be the bearer of bad news to Alleva. #HitTheRoadJoe

I say if this gets all dicked up, we fire Alleva and start an AD search.

I know someone who is currently looking for employment, and is quite familiar with this damned strong team.....

Les Miles!!!!!

If after two damn months to conduct this search, the best he can do is promote the interim to head coach, then yeah. He deserves to get friggin' fired.

Out of a cannon.

Into the sun.

While being molested by Jared.

And Jared's going in dry.

Definitely this. But can we wait until something happens before we have him drawn and quartered?

Most LSU fans hate Alleva because they think everyone else does and that they're supposed to.

We've been continually thrashed in the media over the past 12 months.

The Miles firing then not firing last November. His firing earlier this year. The Florida situation. And with what happened last night. Granted last night was not as bad as it was initially perceived, but we still got royally bashed on live TV.

Absolutely Miles should have been fired and many programs have fired coaches in the middle of the season. So why are we getting bashed for it?

Are we the bad guy in all of these situations? No. But the national consensus is that we are.

Every single time one of these bad PR situations happen, Alleva's name is all over it. Good, bad, or indifferent, that's the reality. The national consensus is that Alleva is a joke. It' doesn't matter if he gets played or does the playing, he always seems to get us labeled as the bad guy nationally. That's just a fact whether you think he's done a great job or not.

So, my point is,

whether you like Alleva or not,

whether you believe he's responsible for all of these occurrences or not,

there comes a point where it's just clear that it might be best for the program to move on. Because it's clear the media has made up their mind on Alleva.

For starters you make a complete list of names and get them lined up in a pecking order so it does not come down to even a possibility of Fisher Herman or keep O
