Get ready for the last piece of action for this board until it shuts down

What currently unemployed or coordinators do you think are getting a job this season?

I think Adam Gase will unless he blows the interviews, Jim Swartz possibly, Josh McDaniels if the right job opens up (that's a total dolphins move right there but idk if he wants to go Mangini and go to a division rival and pissed Belicheck off ), Matt Patricia will get interviews but he's still young and is the first time around the coaching carousel so I don't think he catches one yet

And of course I can't wait for the annual "Mike Homgren wants to coach again" rumors. Should be fun

Hue Jackson will probably be in the conversation as well

One interesting thing I could see happening: Giants Fire Coughlin and colts Fire Pagano, then the colts hire old arse Coughlin to instill some toughness and discipline and because of how tough he played the Patriots with the Giants

I'm not sure if he's interested in head coaching, but I want this guy to be a HC somewhere just based on his looks.

The Belichick coaching tree looks like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree at this point.

O'Brien is going to the playoffs but a vegetable could coach in the AFC South and win.

Coaches possibly getting the ax:

Campbell (MIA)
Pagano (IND)
McCoy (SD)
Coughlin (NYG)
Kelly (PHI)
Garrett (DAL) but probably not
Caldwell (DET)

Anyone else? Would Cleveland cut bait again this early?

As a Colts fan, I don't think I'd want this. I like Coughlin a lot but he should just retire. His teams just haven't seemed to be very engaged this year, aside from a few players/games.

Cleveland is deffinitly firing Pettine. He's been calling out the organization all year, so I think he wants out in the worst way

That's Patricia, which I talked about earlier. Belichecks coaching tree history isn't promising, but Patricia is a different cat that some of the others that have come through. I actually think he's more likely to be Belichecks successor than McDaniels is, although that bridge still has a few years until it is crossed

I think BB has given him a lot more free reign with the defense that he has with past coordinators

Pettine is 100% gone after the season.

I think Gase could end up in Indianapolis. They may decide to go with the offensive guy as HC this time around to pair with Luck. Personally I think it would be a great move for them.

Yep, about time for the CCB to get its second wind, especially if/when some of the NFL openings impact the college ranks.
