What would be the point of waiting? We just announced a new DC that we swiped from an SEC program.

Big hire incoming?

Just got doing everything for baker.
He has a lot of shite to do right now.
DL coach
CB coach
Safety coach
BK knows what he is doing. He isnt losing Sloan or Hankton. He has to figure out what he’s doing with them

He seems to be big on letting guys have their day, though. Whether that be the Baker hire, the Underwood commitment, or separating the '24 signees from the transfer commits. He may just be letting things happen with a sequence in mind. Answer? Probably not, but it's plausible.

It's not as simple as just saying they are promoted. I suspect Woody and BK are negotiating salary bump and specific titles with Sloan and Hankton's agents right now. Hankton wants co-OC, I'm sure, and his agents are probably floating the Bama job to add some pressure.

Is Bama gonna make him Co OC or something?

Exactly, today was all about Underwood tomorrow or Monday would probably be Corey Raymond or the promotion or Sloan.

Yeah, they'll say it's because we're focused on the defensive staff like we can't handle both at once or something.

You think it’s easy to hire like 5 different coaches in three days

You didn’t notice the exact same thread already on the front page when you decided to start a new topic on the same subject?

What more did you think you’re bringing to the discussion?

It sure seems like the delay is because LSU is waiting on someone outside of the program.

One day, those of you who already haven’t will figure out that you aren’t going to be able to predict a lot with Kelly from the outside and there are no consistently legit sources. The man has a process. We may not know how it works, but it seems to work more often than not. Let’s see how it plays out here.

It's not always that simple. If your current job passed you over for a promotion with no advancement possible in the near future, wouldn't most make a lateral move elsewhere where advancement is still a possibility? Your worth has already been determined at your current employer and it's that you're not good enough. Pride is a real thing.

BK probably still interviewing OC’s. My guess is Grubb since he’s coaching Monday night.

That would be really dumb.
Taking the only QB coach Nuss has known, and a major part of the best offense in college football would be really dumb.
Losing the #1 Player and QB for 25 season just to bring in another older OC, would be really dumb.
But hey, it wouldn't be the first dumb decision LSU has made....so I guess losing Sloan is still a possibility.

When will fans understand BK works on his timeline not yours.Just like the possibility of NS retiring. He wont do it
until after the college season is over as to not take the
spolight of the championship game.
