Barksdale said Miles had not mentioned anything about the whole situation in 24 hours. He officially addressed the team Thursday night and told the team he would be there for them in the bowl game and not to worry about anything. (paraphrase from Barksdale)

Can you change the title since he stated he could have been absent from the group that heard it from Miles.
He did say they were being told he was going to be around immediately before the game.

Yeah it seems like Barksdale is the only guy that missed it.
Waiting for them to ask Sheppard what he heard...
eta: Sheppard says that Miles told the team that rumors are just rumors and that he is the LSU coach

Both Bryan lazare and mike s said miles told the team that Michigan has not contacted him and vice versa and when that did happen he would let them know.

no, i'm attacking Barksdale because I've always attacked Barksdale since he decided to whine publicly from day 1. Not to mention he has, until the 2nd half of this season, been an automatic penalty driving killing machine at least twice a game.
