Don't try and use logic with the gumps. A door knob, yes, a gump, no

Haha. They just upped his pay for losing to their most hated rival in the only game that mattered.

I'm sure LSU is going to give Les Miles even more than Saban for losing to our various "rivals."

Leaks from Texas have been the only info up to this point.

So the article posted in the OP and Saban's interview he just did about an hour ago on ESPN mean jack shite?

I have no doubt Texas wanted Saban. But the fact that Brown remains the Texas coach tells me that Saban or Jimmy Sexton or someone close to Saban told them thanks but no thanks.

Any link yet gumps? Need more time to properly research? Easy to put this to bed by providing that link!

Yeah - you know why? Arkansauce was trying to get him with more $ and they felt it was serious. And the LSU administration can be moronic at times too.

Take a chill pill dude. No one wants to find the link because no one really cares. Nick Saban is still the head coach of Alabama and Mack Brown remains the coach at Texas. It's quite obvious what went down. Texas made a push for Saban, Alabama reacted by giving him a juicier contract. Alabama won. Texas lost.

I assume you are very retarded. So...got that link? Answer is clearly no. Not a single one of you can produce evidence that the $2M raise was always planned.

No...it's because there isn't one. That raise was never planned.

Assume away you angry little man. What does it matter if it was planned or not? If Les was worth it, he would be making the same thing. Get over your anger with all things Bama.

Bro it's quite simple. He has an empire at Alabama. He's created a finely tuned machine the likes of which have never been seen. He loves it here and we can pay as much as Texas or anyone else. So there's no reason to leave.

End of story

You must live in a bubble. Your Gump Brigade has been madly posting that it wasn't!

Who said this was about Les?

Yeah, they gave him a new contract just for the hell of it.

After he lost a game that might have put Bama in the national championship game again.

Guess you guys gave him a $2M raise for recognition that he loves it there? Not in response to a Texas offer or push?

Admitting that we gave him a raise? Yeah. I am. But I thought Texas had endless amounts of money. Surely they could outbid $7 million a year? The fact that they never bothered to get into a bidding war over Saban speaks plainly. Saban told them no but the administration gave him a raise anyway.

You guys said none of this was in response to Texas. Clearly that is BS.

And...began attacking Chicken.
