Is he completely out of the running now?

Is it now down to either Fisher, Fedora, or O?

I believe he's out of the running. It appears he's more interested in using LSU as a stepping stone if he doesn't already get the Texas job this year, and I definitely don't want a guy that's just using us.

I feel like Fedora is maybe being used as a pawn for negotiating purposes.

Girl I graduated from High school who's dad is one of the top LSU boosters said Herman is not interested. Let him have fun turning around the epic shite show that is UT football.

I believe she said that, but I'll say this.... I'm so ready for this to be over. Everyone and their dog has a source and some are so conflicting but everyone swears their source is legit.

Let's just get these two games won and see what happens

I've heard the same. I want a proven coach that wants to be here 10+ years.

I'm pretty skeptical of most posters with 'sources' on this site, but Random LSU Hero has been pretty spot on. He's been reporting contact with Jimbo well before it broke through mainstream media.

Fedora would drop a nut jumping here.

You think UNC is gonna give him over 3 million? The ball he plays with isn't the right shape for that.

What are Hermans "reasons"? Seems like an up and coming coach would love the chance to get a shot a big program like LSU.

From what I've gathered he'd rather take his chance at the possibility of coaching at Texas.

True...You have to take into consideration the money, the prestige, the history, and the Longhorn Network...I have concerns about Herman's ability to recruit. It was reported, I think by the Statesman, that he never recruited outside of Texas, more in particular SE TX even with the most fertile recruiting ground in the country next door...Houston usually ends up with UT,TAMU, and LSU leftovers, and to an extent Sam Houston. UH has been physically dominated at times...it all goes to recruiting
