We have been looking at crappie offenses so long we would be willing to hire a coach with a great offense but no defense.

Briles has won nothing in his whole career. His teams score tons of points; as does the entire Big 12. How many titles has the Big 12 won in the past decade? Go ask a parent of a daughter how safe they would feel enrolling her at LSU with Briles being the HC. Too, he has never admitted jack shite beyond a pathetic mea culpa.

Retain Aranda...make sure the defense is in good hands. Right now, the defense is on the field far too long. However, a Briles type offense also has quick possessions.
All of that said, I would just like to see some balance. Open it up. Maintain the fence around the state, keep getting great athletes, and beat Bama. Briles, Fisher, and Herman, IMO, are the ones to do that

I'd consider Petrino or Brian Kelly or Chip Kelly, even knowing the baggage they have.
But, Briles. HELL NO.
Don't believe the character resurrection articles you've seen lately trying to paint this guy as some kind of victim at Baylor. That is horsesh*t. The guy is slimy as hell. And this coming from a guy who is willing to take Petrino.
Say what you will about Petrino, but so far he hasn't fostered a climate of rape cover-up while acting all churchy.

Man, you've got it all wrong. Baylor University was cited in the Pepper Hamilton investigation, but not Briles. He had 2 players convicted of sexual assault. Neither ever played a down. Read this... Not a character resurrection article... A factual article. Facts

Let's forget that he is a POS part. His teams play no defense. In the SEC he would just be a version of Texas Tech. Score a bunch of points, give up a bunch more.
