Pure speculation, and there are other qualified candidates.

Hopefully he waits for a better situation.

Doesn't seem like a great job to jump into:

1. Replacing a 9 win coach at Minnesota.

2. Current players are talking transfer.

3. Starting late in recruiting cycle in a tough recruiting location.

4. Minnesota with a limited recruiting base is in a tough conference with a lot of really good coaches. Big ten schools will be getting 35 million per year from the conference starting in 2018. You have to figure that football will get more of those resources at Michigan and Ohio State.

Winning more than eight games per year will be tough.

Don't do it Dave. There will be better opportunities.

That being said. Dave is going to start getting offers. We need to accept that his stay in Baton Rouge might not be long.

Since mid-September I've heard Orgeron mention gumbo 47 times.

And Bert is a fat frick.

At least two care about food.

Word is that he wants to be an NFL DC, not an HC.

Aka a DUMPSTER FIRE.

Aranda is associate head coach at LSU. God forbid anything bad happen, but if Orgeron isn't with the team...that team then belongs to Dave Aranda.

This is what I have heard also. No sauces but he doesn't like the spotlight and press conferences. NFL DC is where he will probably land soon.

That isn't even speculation. That is simply a writer putting out his wishlist. Waste of time looking at that.
