Les said he loved the team, and that he would never do anything to hurt it...tears followed...what's he done if he has indeed already told them??
I honestly don't see how Miles defenders can continue to have his back.

If that is true, then it will be looked at one of two ways:

1. He has enough respect for his team to be honest with them and what his plans are for the future

2. He is an idiot for doing this so close to a championship game

I'd say both.

Yes, I heard directly from a player tonight. Miles told them at practice.

The timing, absolutely. Even if HE already knows he's done... gotta keep it under wraps until Monday. The players are just kids, they can't keep a secret like that.

Agreed. IF its true, then he really has no outs to look like a good guy. He either told them because he plans on leaving right away, or if he plans on coaching the SECCG then he looks terrible because he will have certainly shifted the whole mindset of the game.

Well...My Christmas went just fine that year, as it does every year. I wouldn't allow something like to ruin Christmas.

If we win the SECCG I won't care.

If we lose it...then that will be worse.

Good, then why tell them today?

I don't have that answer. Sorry.

I guess RP goes back to a clean slate. He probably breathed a sigh of relief. He will be out tonight hooping it up like a wild indian.

I know man... more of a rhetorical question because the timing makes no sense.

If this true, and thats a mighty huge IF...then that means Miles and Michigan have reached an agreement behind LSU's back...WOW

That's when I knew he was done. No way tears were shed unless he honestly loved his team and knew he was leaving. He knew he was about to hurt them.

Normally I'd be skeptical, but I heard the same thing, and I don't know this Jacked Up Tepper guy... (that I know of...)

Ok, lets assume all this is true and the person you heard this from is reliable. Does LSU politely ask Miles to step down before the game?

Two days before the game? Nah, if he plans on coaching the game, LSU will let him. Unless he really went behind some backs and burned some bridges...
