Oh, ok. I'm not believing some random internet guy who knows someone other than the AD and Chancellor.

My sources have not eliminate Mullen or Federoa. Nor have they eliminated THE DARK HORSE, Chis Klieman.

would be hard to justify 3 million dollars more a year for a football coach. and on top of that I don't see how the child care management situation would be resolved. I doubt he would want to live that far away from his kids.

Mullen

Teams in the SEC aren't allowed to hire away active head coaches from another school. It's an unwritten SEC rule. It just doesn't happen.

Your sources are idiots.

Don't know how true this is, but I really wish they'd consider Fedora and Mullen as second tier candidates.

Doesnt seem like he would fit the culture, hasnt recruited in the southeast, knows nothing about the SEC,

Urban Meyer, Les Miles and Nick Saban all coached in the SEC at the same time. During that time the best recruiters in the SEC were Meyer, Miles and Saban. The best coaches in the SEC during that time were also Meyer, Miles and Saban.

Guess what, none of the three are from the south. None would have been considered to fit the culture. Nick (WV) never coached college football in the south and did well coaching and recruiting at LSU. Urban had never coached anywhere near the south and did alright at UF. Les' tenure at Ok State was his only southern college coaching gig which would not qualify him as a coach who could recruit Louisiana and Texas very well and he did just that.

I am in no way endorsing Shaw. Hell besides his name and the fact that he coaches Stanford I know nothing about him. But, for anybody to think someone will have trouble recruiting Louisiana, Texas or the rest of the South based on where they are from or where they have coached is just flat out ridiculous.

Should have added CEO to that list.

He is a way worse HC than all those guys.

I think a certain amount of misinformation is called for this early in the process. Inquiring minds may want to know, but, not just yet my friends.

How confident does it seem LSU is with getting Herman?
I haven't read past this comment, and already know that it won't be answered. It's the answer everyone wants to know and it's the answer that continuously gets sidestepped. David Shaw, though.

I would probably burn down the athletic department if they hire Kiffin. I would fight Alleva. We would square up in the parking lot.
If the fight doesn't happen at Sonic. No care.

Well if that happens and we keep Coach O then we should keep Steve Ensminger as offensive coordinator

Do you really think CEO can win at a rate Miles won at?

frick no! Why would anyone think he would deserve to get the full time job when someone else built this team he won with for 8games.

We already seen him build a team and it fricking sucked.

More likely to happen than not, and you're calling Miles back at that point.

I agree with every one but Kiffin. Obviously he's not one of our top tier choices, but I'd be surprised if he's not at least on the list. Not saying that's a good or bad thing.
