Or, does he just go straight to Cleveland from Miami?

Greatest college football coach of all time, IMO.

It's gonna be a long few weeks for Bama fans until every NFL job is filled, no matter what they say.

Why would he go to the NFL?

He's already got an NFL team in Tuscaloosa and he gets paid like an NFL HC too.

He's stays and wins about 5 more championships....for better or for worse.

It's about to get bad in Tuscaloosa. After we won the title again in 07 it was expected to be done every year and if it wasn't the whole season apparently is a failure. Imagine what it would be like after 3 of 4. And in Tuscaloosa at that. I'd run, and I'd run fast from that town.

Saban likes challenges. No challenge at Alabama. He gone!

Can you imagine if A&M wins the BCS next year, and everybody leaning on Saban for the next 2 years because Johnny Heisman will still be around??

I think he does like Urban and gets out while the getting is good

He seemed more emotional tonight than the other NCs. I won't believe he's going til he says he's not.

Strange development that Coach Burns is heading out. Why would he be leaving?

He denied those rumors after the game.

I don't necessarily think he is going, but this is probably the only offseason I could ever imagine him leaving. Just because it is obvious there is nothing to necessarily prove anymore in the college game for him and the nfl coaching vacancies. If he doesn't go this offseason I definitely believes he is at Bama until he retires.

I think he is staying as his image and legacy cannot take another shot to the chops if he fails in the NFL again

I think he leaves if Pete Carroll makes a run this season in Seattle as it will be seen as Carroll doing something Coach Saban could not do - succeed in the NFL
