Michigan - who do they hire if not Miles?

I assume Hoke would be the leading candidate, but many think that the powers that be do not want him because of his lack of signature wins.
The Harbaugh contingent will be unhappy no matter what. The Carr group aren't going to like Miles.

if theres not significant movement in their search by tomorrow afternoon, you can bet theyre waiting for miles. if he shoots em down, odds on favorite has to be hoke

Why does Hoke seem like a really bad hire to me? For example, if LSU loses Les Miles, would Hoke be high on your list of replacements? Would Hoke have been a good hire for Florida?
If Hoke did not have Michigan ties, his name would not even be mentioned.
That being said, I think the list of Michigan candidates looks just like the thread for LSU candidates.

You need a Midwest guy than can win with a spread offense, because three more years of transition is NOT what Michigan needs.

Also, and this will get scoffed at, but I'm telling you guys they could do a LOT worse than June Jones right here. He can build 'em up like no other and he runs the spread.
