Hypothetically Les takes the Michigan job, does Jimbo get the first call?

Would lsu fans want him?

The golden goose is in his last year at FSU. It's only a matter of time before the corrupt nature of the program catches up in Tallahassee, would jimbo consider moving back to Baton Rouge?

Absolutely.

Knows how to recruit, knows this conference, knows Louisiana, proven winner

Would be a homerun, just don't know if he'd make that move in the end, but you absolutely try to get him and make him say no multiple times before moving to the more probable/realistic hires

"Homerun" hires are rare, but this would certainly be the one potential realistic homerun hire for LSU . He wanted the job in 2005, didn't get it for obvious inexperience reasons.

Why would Jimbo leave FSU for LSU?
He won't leave FSU unless it is for a NFL gig.

Getting jimbo would easily be the best case scenario for LSU

Lets see...
Easier to win the acc
Closer to the best recruiting grounds in the nation

Ton of reasons to stay at FSU and they have just as much money to pay him as we do. Not a snowballs chance in hell.

FSU can come close, plus he's got a nice set up as king of that shitty conference. Pretty much a yearly seat at the playoff.

Yes they can. Anything that LSU would offer, FSU would match.

So the "corrupt nature" of the program has nothing to do with a coach who's been in said program since 2007?

No offense to LSU but there's no way anyone is leaving FSU for LSU.

I was high on him, but after this year, I don't get a good feeling about him. Seems like he is very soft on discipline and could be an NCAA sanction waiting to happen.

frick no. Jimbo wouldn't be in the top 5. Why would he leave FSU and the easy road of the ACC to come to LSU? Because he coached here 8 years ago? A waste of a phone call mad I wouldn't want that jackass anyway. frick Jimbo

and he wouldn't take the LSU job if offered. it is at best a lateral move from where he is currently.

It's no secret that he and his wife really liked Baton Rouge and he doesn't see eye to eye with the FSU administration.

I think he would seriously consider if we were to offer him a raise as well, which we would.

Because jimbo has basically caught lightning in a bottle. Before Jameis there were fans that were not happy with fisher. His program is under a lot of scrutiny right now. Jimbo may want a clean slate and a lateral move to save face before he ends up like Jim Tressel.

Play Duke N.C. State and Wake Forest or play Bama, Auburn, and the rest of the SEC west. I'd stay in the ACC, he's pretty much guaranteed no more than 2 losses per year in the ACC.
