Especially those with a family, when do you find time to read? In bed before going to sleep? Weekends?

Most of my reading is done in bed before going to sleep, on long flights, and on the beach.

I read an hour and fifteen minutes every morning Monday-Friday. It gets my head right for the work day.

At night instead of tv. It does wonders for your mind. And also all the other times you mentioned. I love being able to lay in bed, lights out with my kindle and read.

Usually before I go to bed. When it's warmer out or rainy, I'll sit out on the balcony and read as well.

I need to get back into the habit of downloading audiobooks to listen to when I walk/workout.

After my wife and I get home from work, eat dinner, bath our son, and put him to bed I would feel guilty picking up a book and ignoring her. We usually watch an hour or so of TV before showering and laying in bed.

I lay on the sofa and read while the wife watches TV after we put the kid to bed. Even reading just 30 minutes is a good way to wind down

Usually at night for 30 minutes to an hour before bed. Helps me wind down and I get fall asleep much quicker. Sometimes on weekends if there is down time which isn't often.

I keep a book on my phone. After 3:00 at work it gets really slow and I can usually read but wouldn't want to break out a real book.

I try to read every night before bed, but often I'll read to avoid going out on random weeknights and spending money I can't afford to blow.

this is so true for me.

I usually read during the week after about 9pm. I did a little test a few weeks ago reading (paperbacks) one or two nights in a row and the next couple days watching TV or fiddling on my computer and not reading. I found the nights I read a book, which was about 30 minutes to an hour, I feel asleep much quicker and would only wake up once at the most. The nights I had technology in my face until bed, longer to fall asleep and I would wake up at least twice. I'm a believer

And audio books. I make 1 or 2 long drives per month so I do audiobooks for that. Audible runs daily deals and occasional sales that gets the price under $5 so I've stockpiled around 50 audio books.

I try to watch a little tv with the wife but our tastes in shows are very different so I usually go to bed and read an hour or two. Until the book hits me in the forehead when I doze off!!

During the week...in my downtime at work, I read on the Kindle Cloud Reader. At home, I find 10 min. here and there to read my Kindle. A lot is read on weekend mornings on the deck before the family wakes up.

I live in DC so I have about 20 minutes a day on the metro. I also usually read at least 1 chapter in whatever book I'm into at night before bed.

Lately (and by lately I mean just last weekend) I have started reading a good bit on weekend mornings after I take the dog out. He hangs out on the couch, i turn on pandora classical music and just get lost for an hour or two. It is easier now that the soccer leagues are done for the season and there isn't any distraction to watch that

I read before bed 2-3 times per week, and audiobook when I'm in the car. Non Fiction only in the car.

This sounds a lot like me. Although since I've been sidelined lately pre and post liver transplant, I've had more time (though not always the concentration) for reading.

This. Although a lot of times I'm so tired that I only make it through a few pages.
