Memory Lane: What were the best Choose Your Own Adventure books?

Those were an awesome format. So much so that the BrouHaHa at Tulane once did an issue in that format.

Oh, man. I read those 40 years ago, and I still remember the one with the car rally race across Africa, the one as the captain of a ship at sea, and the one onboard an alien spaceship.

The only one I still remember was an Indiana Jones adventure. So I guess that one.

I had this puppy right here. I always skipped aheaf and cheated. Damn thing was hard as hell.

Robinson Crusoe for me ... and I've collected various Editions over the years since. Still one of my all time favorite books. The first time I read it I was nine years old.
